Hi,
Lovely indeed. The lace dress is circa 1910. I cannot tell the black skirt from the photo, and without getting a better look at the sleeves, the B & W blouse/waist looks circa 1905-1910. The lace dress was often referred to as a lingerie dress or garden party dress, or lawn dress. Without a label, it will be hard to determine where it was made, but you feel it may be French. It is a combination of laces, and while these types of laces were made in France, they were also made in England and the USA. The laces (insertion laces) could be imported by the yard, and the dress sewn up by a seamstress or dressmaker. It should lighten up nicely with a soaking. It is really beautiful. B
