DVF This one has me stumped!

I have this cardigan set put away, because I have no idea what I have. I haven't seen anything like it.

It is a very loose knit, crochet I guess? with metallic rainbow threading throughout. Both the tank and the sweater have the same label. Any guesses, clues? Is it rare? Did someone stick a DVF label in this set?

I can't see the stitching very well, but I think you're right that it is crochet. I could tell for sure if you could get an even closer shot of a few stitches.

I'm afraid I don't know anything about DVF, so I can't help you with authenticity. But I'm sure someone else will have more information on that part.

It is probably genuine DVF. I have a dress with the same label (signature actually, as label was cut out but is signed on pocket with red metallic thread) that I believe is late 70s or early 80s. It is a denim dress. I thought of listing it, but unfortunately unless its a wrap dress; vintage DVF does not seem to sell very well. So I am keeping, and wearing it. :)

I think if you put it on your website versus ebay it should sell.

I agree though if its on ebay everyone wants the wrap dresses or wants what is being shown this week on QVC - just at a cheaper price.
