Dyed coney, persian lamb coat - ?s

At first I thought this was sheared beaver - ultra soft - but I've discovered it's dyed coney. Is this coat from the 30s - early or late? The sleeves taper out (not quite bell) and back and sleeves are all dyed coney.

Would you know if these come up often? I ask because there are a few problems with the coat and I'm wondering if it's worth investing a few $ to have it repaired. The lining, however, is pristine & original and there is absolutely no odor.

is the front piece inset? or like ascarf difficult to tell from here? the centre piece is astrakhan is it not? coney...well that rabbit?? great shape.....would think more 30's myself...price you'd get well l guess depends where you are going to list it, website or ebay..

The front piece is fully attached, Sara. It could be astrakhan, I'll take a close-up and post.

Do you think early or late in the 30s? And do you think a website would get a better price?
