Dyed Squirrel or Rabbit Fur Cape?

Hi again - I am having trouble identifying whether this cape is dyed squirrel or rabbit fur?
Based on touch, my first impression was rabbit, however, now I'm second guessing myself as the guard hairs are not what I'd consider very long and I'm starting to wonder if it could be squirrel.
I also think the fur was dyed based on the reddish tint.
It's labeled "Lee Broms Furs Peoria". I did find them on Facebook and messaged them for help identifying the fur, but also wanted to check in here.

Hi there Brooke, I understand your first impression thinking it was rabbit based on touch because the texture of rabbit fur feels soft however your second guess was correct. It is Russian Squirrel which also feels very soft and it may or may not be color enhanced as there are red squirrels out there.
