Dying Suede

Hi

I have just bought a lovely 1960s Pierre Cardin Suede dress but it has lost some colour on the shoulders, any ideas if I could redye it?

I would be very afraid to try that. Sometimes just a good brushing with a soft brush can help, but if it is really bad. I dont know. Maybe someone has a solution.

It may well shrink and ruin it. I have leather became 6 sizes smaller when wet.

I was told when you send a suede item to a specialist to clean they have to dye the item because during the clkeaning it loses color. I would bringit to a dry cleaner which offers this service and see if they could dye the dress.
