Hello everyone

I have at least 10 Montgomery ward mini fabric samples in envelopes. The size of the envelope s are 2 1/2 x 3 1/2. Fair condition. I cannot upload the photo's from my phone because the file is too large. I know it's early 1900's because of other mail and newspapers with it.
Here's an example of what one says.

SAMPLES
BLACK SATIN FACED VENETIAN
descriptive catalogue no. Z 1541.
Actual width, 50 inches.
Price per yard, $1.39.
Montgomery Ward & Co

Think there may be a value to them ? The fabric samples are in excellent condition. Envelope s are a bit mouse torn on some corners.

Thank you

Sounds interesting! Can you load the photos as thumbnails? Or perhaps edit the size down - I use Gimp software, you can download it for free.

Are you asking if they have a value?

fabric samples aren't worth a lot unless they exhibit something truly amazing in terms of a print or textile technique and from a well known textile company, preferrably in excellent condition, and dated. In other words something you might want to frame or keep in a collection as a document fabric. If they are plain and solid coloured - don't throw them out, but don't plan to retire on them... someone will want them as a resource, but they aren't worth a lot.
