I found this handmade dress last week and am struggling to date it. It's silk in a houndstooth print and is a simple shape but extremely well made and quite complicated when you get up close. It has small shoulder pads and a false panel at the front, sewn on one side and attached by a popper on the other. I'm thinking early 30s based on the shape, the false panel and the print, but it's in such perfect condition I almost can't believe its that old! Would appreciate any input.
