Ebay

I know what you mean, I really hate it when they change things!:)

Its driving me crazy because my "search for items" bit is gone.. god knows where!

I'm sure its done this before and I was able to click something and switch it back but I can't find any link on the page to do that now... GGRR!

I think you're stuck with the new one. I think I found my searchs down on the bottom left somewhere. There's a ton of customizable stuff...the trick is finding it.

Thanks! when I search for an item I found an opt out tab at the top right but I can't seem to change the rest:(

very annoying!

My opt out button has vanished.. there is a page options button one that doesn't seem to work for me.. crappy ebay!

It just wouldn't be Ebay without regularly scheduled, and random - for that matter, upheaval, chaos and general mayhem~

They've been monkeying around with page appearance for a while and now have shut off (I think) any option of having things the old way - on so many levels :eyebrow2:

Update: Had to manually add the "search for items" page url into the customisable box on the bottom left hand side of page.. this required me spending ages looking through the help pages to find the "search for items" page.

What a load of kerfuffle to go through for a supposedly "updated" ebay layout..

I HATE it when eBay starts fixing things that aren't broken... Every time I go to list something (which isn't often, but I just did it a couple months ago), it takes me 4-ever because they've gone and changed something and it takes me eons to figure it out, because what they've done makes no sense, at least to me. Took me more than 2 hours to list 3 items last night; first one over an hour, the last two maybe 20 minutes each--once I figured out the "new" changes.

It's like eBay thinks that if they keeping changing & "upgrading" the search & listing tools that we'll think we're getting more for our money and be happy. It's like when food producers slap a newly designed label on something and call the product "new & improved."

Try logging on to ebay.ca instead of .com. When I list I use .com, but when I search and want to look at my summary etc, I use .ca because it hasn't switched over yet. I just logged on to .com and there was an option to opt out of the the new search feature.
