I found this item today...is it an Edwardian nightgown?? I would love anyone's thoughts on age/dating and what this item is :-)

Hi,

It looks like a nightgown or dressing gown to me. Probably a home made item, as the crochet inserts were a popular thing for ladies to make, and sew onto their lingerie and lounge wear. From the photos it appears to be late Edwardian to 1920.

Very pretty with those pink ribbons!
