Edwardian or Victorian? Dating this bolero.

I'm thinking that this bolero is Edwardian?
It has no designer or label.
Any advice on the embroidery.
I look at it and keep thinking Lesage.

That is lovely. Does it have sleeves, or is a more of a capelet, or perhaps large collar like a Bertha? I cannot tell in the photos. Also, is it lined?

I am not seeing any indications that the work is Lesage, although it is very nice

Thanks so much Barbara for the info, I can rest my head now re Lesage.
Not a Bertha but Capelet would describe it well. No sleeves and not lined.
I have some old books on needlework and lace so I had better get started with the research.
