Embroidered Floral Clutch - Help Age If You Can!

Hi everyone - I got this clutch at an estate sale in November. It's pretty worn and not in the best condition but I just loved the front embroidery so much I had to get it, but I really don't know anything about it. The fabric on the inside has these rings that are almost like a pattern - they reflect the light wonderfully. Beneath that is a layer of woven, almost burlap like fabric. You may be able to see in the pictures that feature the holes on the right side. Any idea when and where it's from? (Somehow all of the images got rotated)

I'm using an iphone, so the close-up feature isn't as great as I'd like.

Because of the snap, the interior fabric mainly... could be early 40s too for the same reasons. That handiwork has been popular at different times... I have an Indian rug from the 80s with that technique, for example, but I think this is early than that, of course.

I have seen, sometimes, older hardware (snaps, zippers, hinges) used in the fabrication of pieces... Mexican often... I've seen it in their dresses and purses from 50s-80s. But this one feels different than that, to my eye.

Interesting - thanks so much for the help!
