Embroidered Japanese ...?

help I cannot remember the name of this style of clothing .. Also need help in era. I was thinking 50s. ..60s?

It's a woven brocade and looks like a ladies dressing gown to me - Not quite kimono in styling, so made for export and looks early 60s to me. I really like the loose sleeve treatment.

Interesting. It has elements of a Chinese cheongsam but the style is different.

Tangzhuang is the term I've heard before.

eta: this is Chinese in origin, though. other keywords to use are Asian and Oriental
