Emenson wedding dress

Here we have an Emenson wedding dress made from nylon. My photos don't do it justice - it is beautiful (if I was getting married I'd love to wear this). The nylon 'chiffon' is embroidered and has long tight sleeves ending in a slight point at the wrist, fastened with a press-stud. Metal zip. It has a few random sequins sewn on (for the stage) which I'm removing.

Bust 32/34, waist 26. It has a scolloped shaped neckline, pleated bust, raised waist with darts to accentuate the waist and is an ivory/cream colour.

What era would you put it at? 1950s? I can't find out much about Emenson. Thanks.

Does anyone else have a view to the date on this - Hollis thinks it may be late 50s? I'm putting it into a silent auction at our sale on Friday so ideally would like to be able to state the era if possible.
