Picked up an interesting mens jacket, made by Emms of saville row.The lable states that they were under royal patronage.
The jacket is made from dark blue/black melton wool, with a 40's collar and half zip to the front(lightning brand). The cuffs are slightly flared with a split seam.
I can find out very little about the maker, aside from a couple of military jackets that have turned up on auction sites.
Anyone have any information about Emms, that they would like to share?
Any idea what the jacket may have been designed for?
