Aw that's sad.
Only a few months ago I was listening to him on Desert Island Discs. It's a great interview. I think as it's radio rather than TV, you'll be able to listen worldwide. (ignore the first few seconds, that's another show ending)

I went to hear him speak at a screening of his film--he was great! So entertaining, a fabulous storyteller. He "wandered" a bit during the course of the Q&A session, but was laughing about it. 
My friend, who is a hairdresser, even got to shake his hand afterwards and thank him for being so inspiring. I'm thankful that we got to see him speak and so sorry to hear of his passing.

He certainly led a productive and interesting life! His haircuts were amazing!
