Era and/or region specification help

Hi! I bought his incredible jacket today at a flea market and am hoping to learn some more about where it came from. It feels like it could be Turkish or a performance piece. The seller didn’t know, so hopefully someone here might have some insight! Thanks!

Maybe a Bolivian altiplano jacket? They look similar.

Feels more eastern European-ish to me, but it could well be a stage costume that takes inspiration from that corner of the world.

Wow they really do look simlar. I would have thought Middle East or Eastern Europe on this kind of embroidery, but having looked at those, I think you are probably right.
