This has rhinestones and measures 4 inches by 4 and 1/2 inches. The frame has kind of an art deco design (will have to go back and photograph close-up.) Era?

Some of these rhinestone purses are tricky to date as this style of bag/purse was popular through out several decades and in the 1950's. I am not sure that your purse is as early as the 1920's. That silver threaded 'ric-rac' is I believe more contemporary. Your purse looks to be in good condition. Maybe someone can weigh in and date it more accurately.

The only reason I know this is older is because it was my grandmother's and I am ancient 
It's in good condition, but not great. The rhinestones sparkle, but they don't SPARKLE. I think when I take a close-up of the metal frame it will help confirm the date more. Looking at the frame carefully I see now it is really dirty. Cleaning that up will be a challenge.

I'd say 20s - and go easy on the cleaning! The nice old patina is what makes it stands out from the 50s ones. I love a bit of faded sparkle: so much nicer than bling.
