Hi everyone! I'm trying to date this tooled leather belt (I know, I seem to be asking about a lot of belts lately, guess it's just the "theme" of what I've been listing lately!!) and get some more possible information on the maker of the buckle. It seems to be Western styled, the tooling looks like it might have been "rolled" versus hand applied but the hardware pieces are very ornate. The underside of the buckle is signed "VIGIL'S". I've Googled and can not find anything about this maker's mark, however. Is anyone familiar with it? The leather itself doesn't have any markings/signature/brands or sizing marked whatsoever. Could the pieces be sterling silver? There are no metal marks but I thought perhaps they were just un-signed...thanks in advance everyone!
