Erik 1940's gown

Hello, I am new to this site and came across it while researching a dress I have in an upcoming estate sale.
The dress is a metallic pewter evening gown with matching bolero style jacket. The jacket has large rhinestones. The label says Erik with a side bar of Paris 420 Rue St. Honore' and the other side londres. Any information about time and manufacture, etc. would be most welcome.

Hi Amy, it looks interesting but I can't see enough to suggest a dating, please can you show the back view of the dress and jacket seperately, close up of the fastening, decoration and seams please?

Hi Amy, and welcome to the forums. Lovely ensemble, it could be late '30s or '40s but as Melanie says it will be very helpful if you can provide further information and close up pics. As as well info about seams, fastenings (zips, buttons, press studs etc) can you identify the fabric, eg, silk, polyester (probably not, but you never know).

Hi ladies, thank you for your patience. My husband has been in hospital, so I am just getting back to this post. I am attaching more detailed photos in hopes of further information. I will be posting more shots of the other vintage pieces on estatesales.net within the next day, so please advise if more info on these is needed. The Erik gown is in very good condition, no holes, tears, etc. but needs the left shoulder strap secured. These are very tiny dresses - size 0-2 would be my guess. The fabric is metallic with metallic piping and rhinestones on the jacket. Again, thank you for any information on this dress and designer. Yes, the sale is in Fort Wayne, but we are happy to sell via phone fifteen minutes after the doors open to those in line.
