Escada shoes ?s size 39 = 8-1/2 B !

Finally, I have a decent sized shoe! I thought these would be good for certain costumes. French court, Louis something or other??? I'm pretty sure these are 80s, just not sure when in the 80s.

So am I warm, Jonathan?

They're a weird metallic colour - my pics are showing hints of red, but not there in the flesh.

Nice shoes! I would say mid 80s is a good bet. The heel doresn't look right for late 80s or 90s. To be perfectly honest I am not sure when Escada started doing shoes but it couldn't have been much before the mid 80s.

I will say that i wear a euro 38 and i wear an 8 medium in american sizes. (but some people say a 38 is really a 7.5) truth is there is no "exact conversion" it may be a MM or cm off from either the 7.5 or 8 and i fall in between perhaps

but i did find a joan and david pair that were awfully tiny.

best to use measurements because not all Euro makers were consistent either

also Sara might be quoting the UK size, not the american/canadian size.
