Espedrills - measurement ?\'s again...

Okay, now I'm really confused! I'm measuring these Italian made espedrills from Villager - a shoe retailer where I bought many of my funky shoes back in the day - and they just have a sticker that says 8. It measures the same on the inside as the red pumps - 3" across - but I can get my big 8-1/2 B width foot in them (even though they don't fit in length) - so I know they're a B width. I cannot get my foot inside those red pumps, though, and they measure 3" across, too.

I feel confident with these to say "B" without measurements, but if someone asks how can I take an accurate measurement.

I hope I'm making sense...

Thanks!!!

I really am not au fait with US shoe sizing but I just wanted to say I am very excited about all your SHOES!!!
Only this morning I said to my Mum on the phone that I wanted some Espadrilles! Honest!

I think that the issue is that they are totally different styles of shoes. People who buy shoes based on measurements, just like clothing, that they need a certain amount of room in one style or the other. Even though the sole is flush to the ground, because of the wedge, the contact point would be different than the platforms with these.

Make sure you don't forget the "e" on the end of espadrilles or few will find them :(
