Etienne question

Hello all, I have a small coin purse that has the name Etienne embossed inside that reads only Etienne, with no Aigner to be found.

I've done countless searches but everything always comes up Aigner, nothing with just Etienne.

I'm curious if anyone out there knows if someone else makes/has made handbags in the past that used just the name Etienne, or is this perhaps an older Aigner coin purse from the era prior to when he sold the rights to his name?

I have seen that but I am sorry I can't say when or where. I feel like my mom had something with that on it that was aigner. Let me call her and see what she thinks.
