Etsy does a daily email called Etsy Finds and it showcases themed choices from Etsy Listings. It's always something different. But starting last week every Friday is going to be vintage themed and this weeks email of Etsy Vintage Finds is themed on Vintage Vera Scarves.

And they linked to Lizzie's page about Vera Neumann!

Any style maven worth their salt knows that a casually-flung scarf can take an otherwise crap outfit uptown. The queen of vintage scarves? Vera Naumann. The artist turned textile designer's scarves are known for their graphic, bold patterns (flowers, dots and geometrics) and Vera's signature in the corner. They're also known for being totally rad.

Here are but a few of the vintage Vera scarves on Etsy. Go nuts!

hen they link to nine listings of vintage Vera scarves - none of the sellers names sounded familiar so I'm unsure if they're VFGers but I just wanted to pass on that they linked to Lizzie's very informative page!

For the record, they misspelled Vera's last name - not me! lol

I commented on the feature (by Etsy admin. "Teen Angster) about the incorrect spelling of Vera's surname. TA is a collector of vintage accessories, from what I understand. She thanked me.


It is really great that they are doing the Friday features for vintage, and she linked to THE BEST! However, they need to fix that search default situation soon. I posted about this in Etsy forums recently:
