I recently purchased a couple of beautiful sweaters. All of them have "Made in Italy exclusively for Eugenie Buchner NY"tag stitched in them. I haven't been able to find any info of Eugenie Buchner. Is this a department store? Any info would be great.

She sounds like an interesting woman - I found this newspaper article, from 1977 where it talks about how she is very discerning in her tastes, travelling and buying artisan accessories and then selling them in her NY showroom, as well as selling to other shops.

"My things are special, for special people" she's quoted as saying. I love that!

I also found some handbags on etsy and a handbag ad on ebay from 1948 which suggests she's been living her wonderful life for some time. I wonder if she's still doing it? She sounds like a woman after my own heart.
