Evans compact gold purse

I have this Evans compact purse I absolutely love it. I'm curious to know if anyone can accurately date it I guessed 1930s but I'm not sure. The stamp on the rouge appears very different to the ones iv seen on others and haven't come across one the same so I'm curious as to why that is if anyone knows?

I found a few ads (via newspapers.com) for Evans compacts with a mesh bag, all in the mid-to-late 30s.

This is such a great ad, and one of the prizes is an Evans Compact Mesh Bag (Battle Creek Inquirer, 1937)
