Ever seen this La-Mar Label?

Adorable 40's day dress. I'm basing that on another seller's date of their's which is the same style. No pics of the dress yet (will post after I get it ironed - sometime this century.
Just wondering if anyone was familar with the label.

I've seen it but I don't know much about the company. I do know there were countless different labels at the time for dime store or catalogue house dresses. La Mar is in that category.

That makes sense. The fabric is sturdy, but not what my mom would have called 'good' fabric.

It still has great color & no bleeding, unlike the label.
