Everyone have a big on me!!!

My husband just found out he was accepted into the pulmonolgy critical care fellowship at Stanford! This means

* he got one of like 3 slots
* the grueling application and interview process was worth it:
he applied for a fellowship last year and didnt get one and it was
REALLY hard to convince him to put himself out there again
* stanford has a great program :bouncy:

and best of all, I don't have to choose beteween leaving my house, job, or orchestra and doing some awful long distance thing where Mueen ended up in SLC or Phoenix or New Orleans while I stayed here. Stanford is only 10 minutes from our house!!!

I have been stressing about the outcome of this for a year. Im so happy!

Funny - I hung out with my sister's ex boyfriend (who is now like a member of the family) this past weekend - he is a Professor of Molecular Biology (or something like that...too many words for my pea brain) at Stanford. He is the smartest person I have ever met in my life.
