I'm looking for a nice trench coat for this fall,Im gonna move to Paris and need something more fancy, maybe a special cut, color, maybe some details..I'd love some embroidery or other applications.I want it knee-length,not hip and fitted waist,A-line bottom(perhaps a 50s trench)

Something with a twist!
Thanks,Im waiting

Hi!
This one may or may not be what you're seeking. It's by House of Leather, Toronto, a well-constructed leather trench. It even has a zip-out quilted lining, so it is utilitarian and sexy, simultaneously. The color is an unusual smoke grey blue.

Thanks Joules and listitcafe, but that wasnt what I had in mind (I forgot to mention I hate leather jackets lol) The second one is cute but not as feminine as I expected.

My measurements are:39 bust/31 waist/39 hips

Thanks to all

I have two coats but I am not sure if thet are what you are looking for either.

First is my favorite and in my personal collection... But being a vegetarian I feel guilty wearing lol so it hangs in my closet except on RARE occasion. It is early 60s though not 50s. though. but has 50s influences like the buttons :-) its a buttercream yellow and grey, not sure of sizing but I am a med. If interested I will dig it out and measure (im in Florida lol and its not in my closet currently lol)

and then I have a lighter coat from them 40s made in Siam when it was still called Siam, very unique simple classic piece with sterling silver buttons. grey soft wool? (unsure) with satin trim

I have a Bonnie Cashin trench somewhere around here. Classic trench but tent not A-line - but it does have the original fabric belt with it so it can be worn belted - with an attached neck scarf. The material looks like silk from a distance but is a polyester and probably mid to late 70s not 50s. It is lined but lightweight.

Here it is over a full skirt 50s dress.. it will look different over a fitted dress. These are just quick shots and it is a bit wrinkly..

I have a women's Burberry (authentic) trench coat, and at least one or two others in my inventory--"real" trench coats, with back yoke detailing, belts, epaulets, etc. I have an Etienne Aigner one, but I can't remember if it is a women's or men's size.

Pls let me know if you're still looking for one, and I'll be happy to look in my stock and see what I have.
