Fabric Question

Hi everyone!

I was just wondering if someone can help me identify this fabric? Here's the pic. Thank you in advance.

The grey portion appears to be a twill weave with polyester, perhaps rayon/linen, or even some wool, may also be involved.

Can you describe the hand? Are there any labels at all? Knowing the manufacturer's label could perhaps assist.

The label is country set. I believe it is from the 60s.

It has a somewhat rough texture?? sorry I don't know how else to describe it. I've had other dresses from this period, seemingly of the sale fabric, but thinner. The fabric on this one is somewhat heavy. The white and yellow portion are of the same fabric, you just can't see it as well as the gray in this picture.

I remember this label!
The roughness could be a sign of synthetic content, I'm thinking.

Okay, I see, same fabric, different colors for the contrasts.

I'm so used to now, when contrast fabrics are often completely different fabrics, you know? Not that it wasn't done then, but you know what I mean.

Yes, I'm with you for late 60s. This is a great style for now, with the bold graphic appeal. Can you try it on, and see if you feel warm? That's always a sure sign for me and synthetic content!

I'm going with poly/wool blend here; Country Set used that then.
