Hello my friends at VFG.
Would anyone be so kind as to identify what this fabric might be called? It is sort of like Seer Sucker, but with out the pucker. Not quite pin stripe, although it is skinny light stripes on a gold background. It is def a double knit, I just am curious if there is an actual name for this fabric. Im calling it contrasting ribbed texture double knit for now.
I researched it long and hard prior to coming to you. I was convinced there is no name for it beyond textured stripe double knit, but my friend, who is a fashion maven, swears there is a name for it, she just cannot recall. So here I am asking the experts *smile*
1960s men's polyester Summer double knit, striped suit by John Alexander. I did not post full pics of the suit, since I think the close up of the pants and fabric swatch is all you need, but am happy to share more if it helps.
Thanks
