Fabulous H Bar C Mens Embroidered Shirt DATE?

I absolutely LOVE this shirt, it's Dannys but he hates wearing it so I decided to sell the darn thing and he looks soooo damn good in yellow with his dark hair, CRAP!

Anyway, what do I call those pockets. The collar has plastic stays inside at the tips, am I saying that right?
Its NOT a bright yellow as some of the pictures depict, it is more of a pale yellow. The embroidery is done in a silver metallic and yellow silk thread. Looks like a cactus to me, how about you? Lets see what else, pearl snap buttons and the fabric is silky, cotton? rayon? The inside of the back neck and collar is lined in silk...Also, what is that diamond pattern design within the fabric called?

How old am I?

Hi Linda!!! I actually went over to the VC&A and posted about it there, Tina (LadyLuck) who is very knowledgeable on H Bar C answered my questions.

<b>1957, Cupioni rayon, each shirt from this "series" had a "registered number" of the "limited edition" on the paper hang tag (doesn't appear anywhere on the shirt so don't make yourself crazy looking.)
The silver thread is Lurex....
The registered number meant nothing- it was a marketing gimmick. </B>
