I have two of these and I want to know how you know if they are 40s vs. 50s?
Baar & Beards started business in 1941 and Glentex in 1940. As I recall, these were popular during both decades. Pics right here

I generally associate beaded collars with the late '40s to '50s but I think yours is more recent - from the country of manufacture. Perhaps '70s or more recent?
