Fashion Trends for Spring 1946!

I was looking through this catalogue I've had for ages and thought you might find this article of interest. It's the fashion director's picks for Spring trends in 1946 (at least in Minnesota!). The catalogue is by the Twin Cities Apparel Industry (the twin cities being Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota) and as I've never seen another copy of it, I can't say for sure, but think it was used to advertise all local shops and manufacturers in those cities. Lots of great adverts!

Anyways, I hope this works. I scanned them to pdf files. Sorry for the blotchiness, I was given the catalogue by a book seller I was friendly with because it was water damaged...

"Swashbuckling collars" - I like that. What are "butcher rayons"? "White wine" is a popular color.
