Fashionista - Love It or Hate It

Do you like the term FASHIONISTA??






Personally, it makes my skin crawl. I cringe every time I hear it.

Am I the only one?? It could be just me.

Now there's a term I can "buy" into....

Could be a new TV show: "The Frugal Fashionista (AKA The Frugalista)"

I never use that term. I don't like it either. It's overused and sounds so stuffy.

I'm way WAY over adding "-ista" to the end of everything. Its just played out at this point, been done too much I think.

Don't like it either. I too think it's been over-used. Any teenage TV-actress who has a stylist telling her how to dress is being called a fashionista these days it seems. Thanks, but no thanks. If I were hard pressed, I would award this title to my best friend - she's always so well put-together! Her clothes, shoes, bags and jewelery are usually a wild mix of new (H&M and the like - nothing expensive) and vintage, and it always looks so good on her. She just has such a knack for putting the right things together.
