The coat has gold buttons with an eagle on them. Coat has no button holes, instead there are latches (for the lack of a better term) inside the coat. I will add a picture of the buttons to go,along with the other pictures I posted.

Hi, are you able to take photos outside in daylight? (on a person if at all possible) as it's quite hard to make out the shape, colour or texture as it is shown in those photos.
From what I can see of the label and branded lining it looks on the newer side, I would suggest no earlier than 80's. It also looks more like a faux 'plush' rather than a fur.
Does it have a fabric content/care label? If so please show both sides.

it looks that way to me too - newer, looks like a plush faux fur in these photos and better ones will help. but i saw several faverio g real fur coats for sale (all were modern), so i think it's the photos that are the problem. it's probably a sheared fur of some kind.

Thanks, I will get better photos tomorrow and post them. I can tell you that the coat is a hunter green color.

Hi Nicole, That's a really pretty jacket. The G. in Faverio G. stands for the last name Giuliana. Faverio Giuliana is an modern Italian designer who designs fur coats. My initial thought is telling me this is a 90s jacket based on what I see but I would need to know more and see better pics as our other members have suggested.
The exposure of your cuff photo is much better than the photos you posted in your opening post. I would recommend either turning your flash off and taking the pics in a well lit room but not overly bright or take pics outside during daylight where you don't need flash but the sun is not glaring.
It would be great if you could show another photo of the front of the jacket, one of the back of the jacket, and an open photo showing the lining. Also, please share if someone's name in embroidered inside on the lining, whether there is padding in the shoulders, and if so if those are oversized shoulder pads?

Thanks Caryn, I will get those photos tomorrow and post them. I actually took the photos with my iPad, maybe I should take them with my camera instead.

Ok here are more photos. Hope they are better than the las ones. There is no care tag. There is padding in the shoulders but I don't know if they are over sized.

Beautiful. That is real and it looks like female mink pelts sheared and let out in a diagonal pattern in the back and part of the front. From the waist down in front looks like the pelts are let out vertically. The pelts in the sleeves look like they are horizontally crafted. I would call this multi directional. The three initials are an embroidered monogram which is usually only present in real fur coats. The value is significantly higher so it is worth it more to have the initials or name sewn inside. I still think 90s on this, possibly early 2000s, contemporary though, and not vintage. Really a very pretty jacket that I might also refer to as a bomber style.

Hi Caryn, I was just wondering if you could tell me what you think I could get for this coat if I was to sell it. I know it's hard to say without looking at it in person, but if you could I just need something to go on. Thanks

Nicole

Hi Nicole, We're unable to assess value here however in order to get an idea of what similar items to yours have recently sold for you can check the sold listings on eBay for sheared mink fur jackets. You can also find a local furrier and ask them for an evaluation.
