Feather Identification...Please!

Would love to get a feather identification on this lovely bolero.
Super soft, feathery and light. No labels. Woman I purchased it from said it was from the 1980's.
Ostrich maybe? Thanks so much!

Hi,

It is indeed known as marabou. The source of the feathers is most likely turkey, but could possibly be ostrich down from an immature female bird. I have to say I have not seen marabou in that color, and it is gorgeous, and very unusual to see it in that hue.

I love it! But is it really 80s? I'm no expert by any means. But at first glance I thought, late sixties/ early 70s boho. But again, I don't know if boleros were common back then. Either way, it's gorgeous!

I'm pretty sure it is 80s. I had one very similar. It was a gift from my then boyfriend, now husband. It was black with Ostrich feather trim, but short like this one. I believe this was about 1986 0r 87.
