Hallo all - I'm a bit shy about asking a question here, as I don't feel I've contributed too much other than lurking persistantly, but I'd love some help on this one.
I'm looking for images of evening wear c. 1925 that might have had an underslip slip edged with feathers, like the simple black and white illustration accompanying this lovely dress (scroll down to bottom of page):

I love the concept and am trying to get a solid visual of it. I'm going to do some sketches this weekend to see if I can get some sort of idea of what it would look like with this aqua dress, but would love more period images/information to help reconstruct it. I've had a scan through what I have to hand and can't see anything similar.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
