Ferragamo - what happened? And Date Help, Plz.

I've noticed a decrease is price points on all the Ferragama shoes that have sold on eeeekBay lately. I was researching that before I listed a pair. so - what's up with that? Don't folks like Ferragamo any more, or..?

Also - speaking of my listing - here's a pic of the heels.
D'ya think they're 80's? I can never tell, as Ferragamo is so classic... I have them listed in Women's Shioes, but wonder if I shouldn't also list them in Vtg?

I'm not so good at dating shoes, but yours look fairly recent--if 80's, I'd guess late 80s. I have a pair of shoes in my closet with that heel, and they're 90s.

I noticed a while ago that Ferragamos, unless they are very old and very special looking, don't seem to be getting great prices anymore.... Don't know why. I've got a pair of nice peep-toe Ferragamo pumps, 70s in date, and have no clue what to do with them, 'cuz I'm not sure how to price them!!!

As you say, F's are so classic... But maybe that's why they're not as sought after anymore? Not dashing enough? Who knows? Quality shoes just don't seem to do as well these days as they used to.

Good luck with yours there--they look in great shape and very comfy....

I'm going to date your shoes as '90s - that heel is still being worn by a lot of ladies around town.

It's hard to guess with such a classic style, but the heel was making me lean toward 90s as well. That's why I didn't list them in vintage to start out with.

BTW - they're cheap & not one lil nibble... size 9AA. ;-)
