Found this set of Fiorucci beach bags, just wondering if somebody could shed some light on them for me? How old? And are they a one off design? I can't find anything similar anywhere, any help is a appreciated :)

I know that Fiorucci was a popular brand name in the mid 70s, with cigarette skinny jeans and such, very Disco and European inspired. I wore a pair of their jeans to Regine's in 1974, but I was skinny then too! I doubt they are a one off, they might have been a promotional item. I don't know how long the company was in business, but these bags have a sort of late 70's to very early 80s look to them.

I like them!

Hi Louis, I had a vinyl satchel style bag with a very similar comic strip print, around 1983. I dont think mine was actually Fiorucci but it was around the time that these bags were hugely popular. Being in Australia we probably got them later than you in the USA, so I would go very early 1980s.
I still have mine somewhere, I couldnt part with it!

cheers,

Gayle

late 70's early 80's I would say into the 80's...The store was very popular and had a party like atmosphere.... Then they went into jeans in the 80's . They were not one off designs. Probally made in Italy....
