i had to resist the urge to write "kamali kwestion"
after a couple weeks of madness at work i finally have time to do another "big batch" of listings, and i've convinced myself that it will be well worth my while to list the Norma Kamali dress i had a question about a couple weeks ago. (recap- here she is: )
i was taking a closer look though to make sure i have all the details correct and mention any "blemishes" and i can't tell if something is... not right... with the satin. there seems to be a kind of, i have no idea how to describe it- it isn't wear, it isn't fuzz, it's just like a... sheen or something to it. the same look like you get if you wash something with a little too much fabric softener, if that makes any sense. here is a pic i was using for the 'pit discoloration, you can sort of see what i'm talking about:
do you see it? the kind of not-quite-fuzz? since i don't usually deal with high-end pieces (this might be the highest i've ever sold, actually) i'm not familiar with satin "properties". is that just the way it is and i'm being way too picky? could someone have washed it (*gasp!*) instead of dry cleaned it? how do i describe it in the listing?
thanks in advance!
[edit]: egads! sorry the pics are so dang huge lol!!
