I picked up this gorgeous 3 -piece pajama/lounging set last weekend. I dare not try it on or else I will want to keep it. It has padded satin , high waisted pants with a metal zipper. The top is a crepey material. Both trimmed in a pale blue satin. Please tell me you think I have the pants on correctly. I looked at the inseam and this looks correct. I need a date. My first thought was 40s, but now I am thinking 50s.:puzzled: What would you start it out at and kw's, please. Sorry for all the pictures but I am excited about this outfit!

oh my! That set looks like it is in pristine condition! What a wonderful find!

Linda, I am really weak on dating lingerie items, and can't help you out at all. I was going to say 50s, but the shirt makes me think late 40s for
some reason.

The quilted fabric though, I think of being more late 50s into 60s.

Quilted!! That was the word I was searching for.

When I first saw it, I said 40s! Then I got to looking at the legs of the pants. Do you think I have the pants on the right way?

It is in pristeen condition except for that little yellowing on the jacket front which will probably come out when soaked and washed.

Just wanted you to know that it is going on auction tonight.
