What a charming story. Such strength and fortitude to survive. At 86, he looks like he's in his 60's, so svelte and dapper. I loved the part of the story where his prospective wife's grandmother made sure he was really dealing in zippers. My grandmother would have done the same thing. When I go to New York next, I'd love to pop in there to meet him and shop zippers.
