I spotted this beautiful necklace yesterday, and in looking at it, realized it was Trifari and bought it (for $8!). I have since done some searching and discovered it was a Philippe design, and seems to be referred to as Forget Me Not.

However, I cannot for the life of me find a single other example of this necklace in silver. I have found numerous examples of it in gold - with white flowers, white and blue flowers, white and coral flowers, even one with just yellow flowers - but every single one of those is gold. I am starting to feel like I have the only silver toned Forget Me Not necklace out there!

If anyone has more information about this line I would love to know more.

Great find!! I just love these treasure hunt stories!!

You are right about the rarity of the silvertone Forgot-me-Not line. They made it in silvertone, as Trifari was likely to do (make things in both colors), but the trend at that time was to wear goldtone jewelry, so that's what people purchased. I'm in touch with a really great guy who was a salesman for Trifari for 30 years, and I've learned a lot from him!

A silvertone Forgot-me-Not set, with necklace, bracelet, and earrings, sold for $235 in March, 2024. Also, a number of goldtone Forget-me-Nots necklaces are selling for around $150 right now. I'm not sure the silvertone would sell for much more.

I guess I'd be careful in calling it "Rare", but if you use the word be sure you are referring to the silvertone color, and not the Forgot-me-Not line.

It's a great find, either way. Good for You!!!!!
