I managed to Tivo most of it, and here I thought my machine knew, to always record any Fred Astaire film! I love the music so much in this one; a thoroughly fabulous film.

I watched Roberta a couple weeks ago - one of the benefits of being sick is that you get to stay in bed and watch old movies all day ;)
Also watched a couple other Fred/Ginger movies, but can't recall the names :(

Kind of a snub, huh? Maybe Ginger was more like his sister - but Rita was the one who got away?

I think it was perhaps his highest accolade of her amazing talent. I would really like to know more; I love Hollywood history.
