Hello,,,

I love my VFG's and I have a freebie I want to send to a loving home... this is a small (26" waist) for the skirt but the coat is roomy!.

The fabric is in good condition, there may be tiny moth nibbles,, but I don't remember seeing any, I'll have to check again better. I just stopped caring because the fur is in bad condition...

Its still soft but it appears to have gotten to dry and the leather/skin is just coming apart easy. It appears as if it was glued down once and it coming up again and ripping more.

I don't know if you could pull the center out, condition it, glue it to a new back and put it back in or not?

I want to give it to someone on here who thinks they can save it and wants it to keep for themselves.....

I can't pay for the shipping though and its thick!

I'll do a $10.00 flat rate box (I live in the USA) and if you are across the way for me I can do cheapest possible,

I hope this is not an inappropriate post. I am not soliciting nor do I want anything in return.

I prefer the trade members who are very active on here to get first dibs in a thanks to all yall do, and if none of yall want it then whoever! lol

I just don't know what else to do with it and its taking up space. I already have some clothes I am giving to the local museum and this isn't what they are looking for.

It not bad really, just that darned fur, and it seems soft still and not falling out.

If this is inappropriate post I am sorry I didn't realize and let me know and I will remove it!

Thank you all once again and for all of your wonderful help to all of us "newbies" :-)

If I didn't already have more jackets than I could ever wear in such a mild climate, or if I had a 26 inch waist, I would go for it. Love the colors!

lol ... thats how I feel about it,,, I'll never really nor could I wear it .. I thought about pulling the fur out but its so soft,,, i can't remember what kind it is and I hate to see it wasting away in my storage shed!!!

Its darling actually and the fur does go inside as the clasps to hold collar in place are on the plaid side...

Hopefully someone will love it,,, if not maybe our local theatre will want it?

Jennifer I totally relate to you wanting this to find an appreciative home! Its a fantastic suit, and I love how the plaid is straight cut on the jacket, and bias cut on the skirt.

I have a few candidates like this myself - garments that have issues, but are so great that they don't deserve slinging and should be passed on, in the hope that someone can use and enjoy them.

I really hope you find that someone!
