1950s sheath dress and a jacket / tunic jacket sewing pattern Advance 7879 B35.5 (also sold as Advance American Designer 7879 Original Design by Hannah Troy)

This is a very rare German issue of the pattern, I've had German Simplicity and McCall's before, but never Advance and had not seen references to their patterns in German-language magazines or catalogs before. Even more interesting, originally this was an Advance American Designer pattern by Hannah Troy - same pattern number, same design, minus the short version jacket on the left. So for the German market, they dropped the there-unknown designer name, and added the more conventional shorter jacket version!
