I love the advice for different leathers - I've never attempted those.
I have washed pre60s white fabric gloves in warm water with Oxy cleaner powder and it worked wonderfully.

Can we add this somehow to our cleaning resource thread if we can get permission for Queens of Vintage?

I have also washed gloves whilst wearing them to keep the shape then dried them on vintage glove dryers -which worked a treat!!

Mary Jane, I took it to mean that really fine sand paper you can get: it has fine glass fragments on it.
