Found this at a thrift store the other day and am stumped by this style. The liner is almost a curtain type fabric I’ve never seen put in a coat before, almost a curtain type sheer fabric on top of another layer. Has slits for a belt. No pockets. Three hook and eye closures, the top two with significant wear, so the original owner was wearing it closed. Any insight would be appreciated.

I hate identifying furs, but its in the mink/fitch/weasel family - I am sure somebody else can be more specific... The style looks early 60s to me, for one reason they loved that 'autumn haze' colour then, also the open style with what was probably a tie belt originally, was popular then too, as well as the bracelet length sleeves. It still has a wide collar, which disappears by the mid 60s. It may also have been an older coat that was remodelled in the early 60s - that happened a lot.
