Fur id/confirmation

hello all!
the garment is an 80s cape/poncho. zip front with a black collar. there is a belt (black). the lining is black windbreaker-like fabric (same as the collar). no lable.
i believe the fur is cross mink. can anyone confirm this.

I'm not seeing mink. It's a longer haired animal. Looks like it could be patchwork of different furs - are you able to see the underside?

I'm seeing fox mixed with either raccoon or opossum. If you can get to the underside, you'll probably find that it is stitched together patchwork style. It's really unusual!

thanks for the responses.
i have very little experience w/fur
my thought is if it a mix/ patched i would be able to feel it from the underside. i cant & i cant see the underside. although it looks like fox in the pics, it doesnt feel like it/and it doesnt quite seem long enough.
alas, i feel a trip to the furrier in my future.
