Fur Identification HELP!

Hello, I purchased this fur coat from OfferUp and the lady told me it is real fur that belonged to a senior who owned it for years. I was wondering if anyone can help me identify what kind of fur it is. It does not have any tags except for the initials M.J.B inside a pocket. It is about 5 lbs. It is very shiny and sleek and has a dark brown undercoat.

Hi! The initials really dont mean nothing at all, they're just the previous owner's. I couldnt say 100%, specially without touching it, but it looks like beaver or seal to me, from your description and the fact that the size of the pelts just seem too big for mink of sable. But I must say that the pelts really seem to large and long in my opinion, the best test to know if its real fur is to take a piece of hair and burn it, if it melts like plastic you'll know its fake
